Door Seal Issues/ Worst Customer Service

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with an LG product I purchased just over a year ago. The appliance is already exhibiting significant issuesspecifically the door is not sealing properly and does not close as it should. This is unacceptable for a product of this price and reputation. What has made this situation even more frustrating is the complete lack of support I have received. Despite multiple attempts to contact both LG customer care and Asurion under the extended warranty I have not received any meaningful response or assistance. This reflects an alarming level of negligence and disregard for customer experience. This has undoubtedly been one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered and it has significantly eroded my trust in the LG brand. At this point I regret purchasing this product and am strongly considering never buying from LG again.

I bought this a few years ago and while it has some positives the negatives outweigh them. The small door for essentials like milk is convenient but the freezer space French doors and ice maker are disappointing. The freezer has two tiny drawers with the bottom one angled to reduce space further. The French door flap often fails to close properly leaving a gap. The spherical ice maker broke within months despite minimal use. For a fridge that cost over $3000 its not worth itIm already shopping for a replacement.

Bad fridge doesnt last

Had to replace the ice maker twice and the condenser once which cost me $400 which was interesting because the service technician said he sees this all the time. My fridge is only a couple of years old. I hope LG can stay in business with the extra $400 you got from me. By the way my whole kitchen is LG products everything else seems to be fine.

Horrible refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator in March 2024. It was delivered in April. Ice maker quit working in July. Rep came out to repair ice maker. Said it was fixed next day refrigerator quit working. The repair service sent by LG has been in my home at least 4 times to repair my refrigerator. It is now November and I am still at the mercy of LG to fix my refrigerator quit.

Ive had this fridge for about 3 or so years. The fridge works great except the craft ice machine has broken and we replaced it. The ice machine only seems to last one year just long enough to exceed the warranty. Very frustrating Also there have been a few occasions where the freezer was not closed all the way but not open enough to trigger the warning. I wish it would register if it is not completely shut. Other than that Ive really enjoyed it

A Working Icemaker

Weve had this refrigerator for six months and love it. It has been problem-free since we purchased it. The best part of it is the icemaker. It makes small ice cubes in the top door section that are the perfect size and in the bottom it makes round ice balls for craft cocktails which get a lot of ooohs and aaaahs from our guests. Our last refrigerator another brand was wonderful but the icemaker was a joke. It constantly froze up and was totally unreliable. After numerous unsuccessful service calls our warranty just gave us money to buy a new refrigerator. Our appliance specialist recommended this LG model and were glad he did. The ability to see through the glass door is a great feature. There is plenty of interior room and there are options for configuring the space to fit your needs. The flexible top pullout drawer lets us customize this space depending on our current needs. I dont have a single complaint about this refrigerator. Its very sleek and attractive on the outside and is an attractive addition to our beautiful kitchen. But its the ICE that has totally won me over

Craft Icemaker design flawed

This frig is two years old. Two major things wrong with this frig. Te first is the freezer drawers. The inner upper drawer cant be pulled out all the way. That makes it difficult to get/see anything in the back of both drawers. The biggest design issue is with the craft icemaker. It is really slick when it works and the craft cubes fantastic for cocktails. However it doesnt work for long. The first failure was at six months and replaced under warranty. The replace icemaker failed three months later. Both times were preceded by loud knocking then ice cubes stopped being made and the ice drawer filled with water and froze into a sheet. No troubleshooting or help in Support.

Ive been overly happy and very useful w 7 kids in home. Able to store snacks separate from main meal prep. Only issue i had was compressor went out unexpectedly i lost everything i went the day b4 and bought. Everyone knows jow expensive that is my family are meat eaters so i lost $400. BUT they sent someone out fixed it im back to running and now waiting for compensation they are supposed to send to help me out some.

Defective and Crappy Warranty

I had bought a similar model to this which they discontinued no wonder and has had many issues and the warranty is BS. First of all the fridge was defective and the stainless steel that was black came off. I kept telling them its not a wear and tear and that should not happed but they did not listen. Even the tech that was sent to fix another issue saw it and send them pictures to say that is not normal but LG did not listen. Now the fridge and freezer entirely stopped working I had to throw out all of my food and be without a fridge for days. My parents had other brands for over 10 years and nothing happened to it. Its disappointing that you pay over $4000 plus another $500 almost for warranty and they dont care.

Nice refrigerator. The tap on door light up feature is more of an affectation for me rather than a useful feature but kind of cool. The craft ice is very nice - until it breaks down which mine did. It was easy for me to fix but the part cost over $200. Interestingly the part was listed as an upgrade which makes me wonder if the initial craft ice maker had a defect. The freezer fan also needed replacement. Fortunately this problem occurred while still under warranty.

We are enjoying our new refrigerator that was delivered mid-February 2024. The style is very nice and looks great in our kitchen. We get lots of compliments on it. We enjoy having the freezer on the bottom and this model has two ice makers - one on the outside of the door and it also has a large tray in the freezer for when you need much more ice.

It is a good product for a smaller size family of 2-3 people. I really like the design fits well in a small kitchen. Nice looking the water and different kinds of ice is a great feature. The side door bins are small and are ok for thin and small bottles. Middle drawer convenient and you can change the temperature to make it an extra fridge or freezer drawer. Not thrilled about the flimsiness of some of the plastic. If you are looking for extra large freezer space this may not be enough for your needs be sure to get all measurements before purchasing.

I love this refrigerator. Purchased 3 years ago and have had only one problem. It suddenly stopped getting cold. I received a text from LG Thin that the sealant coolant system has a problem. I scheduled a repair technician came out with parts in hand and made repairs in less than 30 minutes. I like the convenace of the draw for items.I store cheesesbreakfast meats yogurts there. Utilizing the freezer for meatsice cream etc. Having the cube balls in addition to the ice from the ice maker is another plus. This refrigerator is just what I needed. Cant forget the dual door for fast drinksmilk etc that allows access to these items without opening the entire refrigerator.
