After a week or so of using it there was a terrible smell! It has gotten a little better but still not great!! Also my 500 series I believe was supposed to come with a vapor mechanism but I never got one!

I love this DW in every way. My only complaint is that the booklet of instructions that it comes with is not very helpful. I downloaded the full instructions and printed them and they are not much better. I really like the AIR DRY feature and there are no clear instructions for how to add that at the end of the chosen cycle. I called Bosch for help but that feature still works only some of the time. The cleaning and quiet are awesome and I'm finding my way :))

I am so glad that the sales person at Salemi Appliance knew about this unit. Number 1 Brand in ratings - European - no heating element - door opens when cycle is completed. Are you kidding me!
I AM SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS DISHWASHER!! My glasses are spotless. I can't even hear it when it's running. Thank God for the red light on my floor. Just hope it lasts longer than my GE.

Leaks. Control panel was shot and new one was backordered for MONTHS (no parts available). Leak was "fixed" under warranty. a few months later, it started working again.
Many other minor issues too - for example, the racks stuck and didn't move up and down; needed parts also on back order. I could live with that, but can;t use the thing with huge leaking.

We have experienced excellent cleaning results with this appliance. And can verify it is extremely quiet as advertised. However, there are two caveats:
1) There is no food grinder for the effluent so that we have to ensure the dishes are better rinsed/scraped, and we have to remember to clean the filter at the bottom (a task not needed with any previous dishwasher).
2) We must ensure that a rinse agent is used. Since we have a water softener, we've never used a rinse agent with previous dishwashers. This unit practically demands it, and when run without it, results were noticeably poorer.
It took some time to "optimize" dish placement. We absolutely love the top rack for utensils; it avoids all "spooning" issues and makes it easier to organize by type for quicker unloading. We rarely use the silverware baskets that come with it, which gives us more room and flexibility in the lower rack.

Overall pleased with operational aspects of dishwasher. Very quiet and does a good job cleaning. A negative is that it requires a rinse aid ( required to ensure sufficient rinse aid in reservoir or will not start. Also surprised that it takes a long time to fully normal cycle. Additionally, after finishing the dishes are not completely dry. Thought drying cycle should be hotter

Will not wash dishes. Repairman will not return calls. we were told 10 working days to get parts on April 8th. We paid half the money up front and have no idea when we will have a dishwasher again. It's only 2 years old. We could buy a new one for what it costs to repair this one. The new one won't be a Bosch.

For once we replaced an appliance before our current model broke down, so we had time to review and shop several brands and sellers. We decided on the Bosch because of features and good references from family members who owned Bosch dishwashers. There was a slight learning curve but we've grown to really like the unit. As promised it's very quiet and the level of cleaning is excellent. I would recommend it to others.

Recently purchased this amazing dishwasher from Lowe's! It is replacing a less than 4 year old Kitchenaid which was too costly to fix! The Bosch while not quite as quiet as the former has very unique features which make up the quietness issue. For example, the automatic door opening feature after completing the wash cycle enhances the drying of the dishwasher load. Also, the projected red light on the floor lets you know the dishwasher is running and shuts off when the cycle is done. It does an outstanding job on washing all items crystal clean. I would highly recommend this dishwasher and hope it will be dependable for many years to come.

Very pleased, easy to set up, cleans very good, most items come out dry, and very quiet. Like all things it took a little time to figure how to load after using a different size and inside lay out for many years but once we were used to the new lay out it is fine.

We have owned 4 Bosch dishwashers, and they are simply the best! Our last one, which was only about 7 yrs. old, showed error code E15, which is a safeguard telling you there is a leak in the dishwasher, so we had to replace it. It's not somethng that happens often, but it does happen. The machine has this built in safeguard so you don't wind up with a flood in your kitchen. Got the newewst model of the one we previously had and it is basically the same, with some additional features. Still learning about this one, but it does the same amazing job washing the dishes as all the Bosch dishwashers we've owned!

We are pleased with all aspects of this machine. We choose it for its ability to safely care for plasticware, its quiet operation, its superb cleaning ability, and how it leaves the clean dishes dry and ready to put away. I use the third rack for washing silverware and utensils - and have put the cutlery baskets away for now - giving me more room for dishes and pans on the lower racks. This was a good purchase for us. The dishwasher is in one large room serving as our kitchen, dining room and living room, so the quiet operation allows us to watch television, entertain, converse, study, etc., even when the dishwasher is running.

I purchased this dishwasher about a month ago and I love it. It has several settings that meet all my needs. It is very quiet and the only way you know the dishwasher is on is by the red light shining on the floor. I love being able to put plastic containers in the bottom rack. Also the customer service has been outstanding. I do wish you could see on the display the cycles. I highly recommend this dishwasher.

We had a similar Bosch dishwasher that was 17 years old. It was difficult to find a new one because of supply chain issues. Our Home Depot had it and we jumped on it. Overall I am pleased. I love the 3rd rack and have gotten rid of the utensil basket on the bottom rack. It is difficult with tall items. It does a good job with cleaning. I notice the racks are lighter and flimsier than my old one. A couple of times I have had computer malfunctions that correct by turning it off and then on again. I wish it did not show fingerprints. It is quiet and I find I am reliant on the red light that shines on the floor to show me it is on.

Beautiful inside and out. Extremely quiet. Even speed wash cleans superbly. Glassware gleams. I love the three trays, especially top silverware tray. Only negative-it doesn't turn itself off; on/off switch stays on. It uses more electricity than I expected when we run it, especially if I don't manually turn it off after the cycle is done, so we rinse more and wash less often, and don't run it at bedtime. kWh reported on meter up a lot compared to non-wash days. But I would buy it again anyway.

High quality dishwasher. Very quiet. Can barely hear it work. Washes dishes really well. Doesn't leave soap residue on bottoms of cups. No need for additional rinses and no need for any rinse agents. It has a nice option to sence the dirt level and automatically adjusts wash time. Everything always comes out clean. I've been using it for a few months now. Controls are very easy. Just press power and start. Close door and that's it. It has a light that shines on the floor to tell you it's working. Has a third tray for utensils and small items. Very convenient. Just a well thought out dishwasher. Couldn't be happier. Was very difficult to find and buy. Grab one if you're lucky enough to find it.

Completely satisfied, this dishwasher replced our 25 year old. Only issue was drain was frozen when delverd in winter and would not run, Had to call customer service that diagnosed the drain was blocked from the error code. once ice was removed and thawed out everything worked well. Was so quiet we had to make sure it was running.

I love the dishwasher overall, but bought the one with the top controls. There is NO display other than a solid red light on the floor when it's on, so after a wash is completed and that light goes out, until you open the door you don't know that the wash was done. On SEVERAL occasions, we were ready to load the dishwasher only to see that it first needed to be unloaded. The old model that this one replaced was 9 years old and still had top controls, but it also had a screen on front that displayed how much time remained as well as what cycle it was on. That design was SO much better. I'm kind of disappointed considering how much this cost and I had to wait 9.5 months for it.

I was so excited to finally get my dishwasher after a 6 month delay. I ordered the Bosch brand because I loved my previous one that lasted about 13 years. (I've been told twice not to expect this one to last as long!). All is good but the one feature that was the most important to me.....quiet while on. You could never tell my last Bosch was on (and there was no red light shining on the floor to tell you so). This new one...not so much. I'm so disappointed! First I checked to make sure nothing was in the way of any mechanics inside. Then I ran it on different cycles. The whooshing sound comes in about 10-15 minutes in and lasts a while, then goes away, then comes back. I haven't sat for an entire cycle. I have recorded the sound if anyone wants to hear it. And now I also have to listen to my husband wondering why, after paying so much money, he can hear the dishwasher. It's not so loud that I can hear it from another room but it's not silent like my old one. I've had the dishwasher for about 4 weeks now. I am going to contact Bosch this week to talk about it.

We bought this model because it can be set to open the door when the drying cycle ends. Iy you wash your dishes at the end of the day you awake to cool, dry dishes. A great feature. But, a full wash/dry cycle takes more than three hours, There is a shorter cycle without the door opening feature.

Purchased in March 8 2021, producted finally arrived in June. Had it professionally installed. Now it isFebruary 2022 and the product no longer works. May 2021 the dry cycle began not drying,and the unit opens mid cycle and the cycle is stopped . This is an issue when you put the machine on at night and expect it clean in the am to unload. I have not been successful in reachinhg support and was disconnected several times by the automated program. The "BoschePowercord.com" recall site would not take my information and the button did not work to submit the number. I dont want to spend a full 8 hour day trying to simply contact someone at Bosch to fix a product I paid extra for full coverage on at purchase. I can not physically wash the dishes for my children right now as I am undergoing physical therapy. I paid a good price for a good product with clean aethetics. Im dissapointed with its preformance. I just want the product to function and dont want to spend 2 days of my work week trying to reach out for assistance with the problem.

As the characters sing in Disney's, "I feel human again!" My dishes have never been so clean even when my old Whirlpool was new. My children love watching the door pop open so it can continue to air dry. The buttons on the inside are great and not only give the dishwasher a clean look, but make is so easy to clean. I love the color black as it does not show the dirt at all.

Only had this dishwasher for about a month, but so far it's been great! We run it daily, occasionally twice a day. Busy household with kids. Our last dishwasher was a Bosch and it lasted more than 12 years. Install tech said it was unlikely, but we will see how long this one lasts. This one has 3 racks (top for silverware/utensils). The racks are much improved over the old one. It's incredibly quiet, and cleans well. I can only hope it lasts as long as the last one. As with any Bosch dishwasher, I suspect you have to keep up with using the rinse aid every wash, and manually cleaning the filter every month or so. I think that is most dishwashers now, though.
Only complaint is long wash cycles when you use sanitize, it adds almost an hour to the cycle, compared to the old dishwasher. I do feel like it's cleaning everything better, so that may be the trade off.

This dishwasher is very quiet. The improvements needed are with the bottom rack. It easily comes off the "track" when it is pulled out to put dishes into the rear portion. The utensil/tableware baskets are too light and easily fallover, when they are removed to unload. On the upper rack, I wish that the folding cup rack could be removed. We use only larger coffee mugs.
