Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Attractive and easy to operate!

Ro777 7/22/2026

Beautiful appliance! Stove top boils water in seconds! Controls are easy to operate. So far have only used one burner on the stove top and the bake function; install was delayed due to delays in kitchen renovation. Looking forward to using the convection mode and other stovetop burners.

Quality of GE cafe induction very poor.

Beware 999 6/30/2026

The cafe induction range I bought less than a year ago has been deemed unrepairable by a GE technician. Customer relations are very difficult to deal with. They are unable to send a replacement. They will only reimburse me the price I paid not the replacement cost which has increased hundreds of dollars since I bought it. I have been without a stove for over two months waiting for repairs and now for a replacement.

well designed, best range we've owned

KaCee 6/8/2026

We chose this induction range after extensive research and looking at all available professional (and many consumer) reviews. Everything on this range works great, with the stovetop knob controls being intuitive and easy to use. When set on high, the burners boil water so quickly that you really can't turn away or you risk your pot boiling over. Once I left a teapot on and left the room, all of the water boiled away. Thankfully, the range had temperature sensors so it knew what had happened and it turned itself off, which was nice. The oven racks are a bit hard to slide in and out, and I found one had to turn on the convection mode for the most even heating in the oven, but those are the only drawbacks (still minor) we've discovered so far. We also purchased the over-the-range Cafe CVM721M2NS5 microwave. You can set it up to pair with the stove.so If you turn on the stovetop, the microwave light and fan automatically start running, which is very nice.

It™€™s good, cheap racks

ChiloquinGrill 5/15/2026

I purchased this stove thinking it would be a worthwhile investment, but I™€™ve been disappointed with the quality™€"especially considering the price. It doesn™€™t include telescoping sliding racks, and the racks it does come with feel quite cheap. I use this in my micro-bakery at my farm stand, so functionality and ease of use are really important. Unfortunately, the racks are difficult to slide in and out, which makes handling baked goods more challenging than it should be. Over time, this could easily lead to strain or injury, which is a serious concern in a working kitchen. Overall, I expected better quality for the amount spent. I™€™m already planning to upgrade to a more reliable and user-friendly stove.

Not all that we were expecting!

Taikadai 4/29/2026

We are not thrilled with the top burners as they do not seem to heat evenly on the outer edges. The oven is not running at the same temp as set at. 50 degrees less. The airfry feature has not worked well. Things are not crisp. We haven't had the range long so we may improve in our usage, but at this point it isn't what we were expecting.

Would do it again

satisfied_unique 3/26/2026

I've owned for 6 weeks and cook 5-6 times a week for one person. Mainly fish and chicken. Pork once. Connectivity is a gimmick I don't use. The consistency and precision of the stove and oven are optimal (but different for each hob). The air fry/convection functions are fantastic. I love the knobs and the look of the unit. I don't love - I only have one large stove burner (I want two). The smaller hobs cook differently [heat wise]. I have not (and likely will not) use the self clean (seems to be a well documented issue). Unit continues to perform extremely well.

OK, not great

MikeLdino 3/8/2026

Plug in temp. sensor is useless-tried it twice and it was 40 deg. to 60 deg. off. We checked it against two different instant read thermometers. Heating elements are inconsistant and magnets are smaller than I was told. Using the front left element two days in a row with exactly the same amounts of products, we needed to use far different power settings to cook.

Problems with burner recognizing pans (brand new high quality pans and high quality iron), horrendous smell from oven after cleaning + burning out for 20 hours in 4 cycles at 500F, Makes loud high pitched noises when 2 burners are on, cycles on and off for any power below medium, 11 inch burner is really a 6 inch burner, burners don't heat evenly.

Only one thing not perfection

BTR1 2/2/2026

Love the sensitivity of the burners. As reactive if not more so than gas. Total of preparing a meal is a lot less than electric or gas. It is very easy to keep clean. Ergonomics are great. Only negative is the preheat time of the oven. However, once the oven is in use the food cooks very evenly.

Lizzie25 1/5/2026

I love this stove, all of the features work exactly as they should. I was unsure about a "smart" appliance, but I've actually gotten a fair amount of use out of the app and it really comes in handy sometimes. I held off reviewing this for several months so I could speak a little on its longevity,;and while 4 months is not a long time, there has been no degradation in that time with frequent use.

kluv99 12/18/2025

I switched this out from another brand that had those 'touch' controls. I had it only a few months and had nothing but problems. This range has great build quality and KNOBS that are responsive and easy to use, with a generous cooking area. With the dual zone and nice large pot capacity - this range has it. Easy to use full screen for setting timers and other functions.

Beautiful range

RxNiki808 12/18/2025

This is my first induction range and I absolutely love it! I have used gas ranges my whole life before moving to a home in Hawaii with an electric range. I absolutely hated the electric range and considered getting a propane tank so I could replace it with a gas range, but after reading that many professional chefs had switched to induction cooking I decided to give it a try. So glad I did! Heat is just as easy to control as a gas range. I haven™€™t tried all of the baking features but the ones I have tried give great results. Love my new range! The only reason I didn™€™t give it 5 stars is because I can™€™t connect it to WiFi to use the smart features with the app. I™€™ve tried all of the troubleshooting and watched you tube videos to no avail. Definitely not a dal breaker though. Never had smart features before so technically I™€™m not missing out!

Great cooktop, OK fine. Attractive

gary76 12/8/2025

Range cooktop is a 5* oven is a 4*, warming drawer a 3*. The cooktop functions very well indeed, featuring super fast pan heat-up and delivery, very granular control and the ability to produce very low heat settings. Knobs on the front function well but are overly large and bulky. Oven is spacious and in convection mode produces even cooking across at least 2 racks. It IS slow to heat up. All literature indicates a Proof mode but it is nowhere to be found - disappointing but not critical to my needs. Warming drawer on low is at least 170F and just TOO warm; it's also a bit too shallow for many larger items and did not come with a rack of any kind. Overall appearance and industrial design is fine, clean enough lines and very nice finishes. The cooktop surface IS fussy to keep looking like new - still have not figured out the trick to that. It looks smeared most of the time.

Amazing Range

Shecar 11/30/2025

Received my new induction range two days before Thanksgiving and it has been performing excellent. I have not used the warming drawer yet but have used all the other features. I've cooked in the oven prime rib, pizza, smashed potatoes, roasted green beans w bacon, pumpkin pie, apple sheet pie, 7 layer bars etc. On the cooktop, cajun pasta, gravy, sausage, eggs, pancakes etc. No issues what soever. Reminder to check your pans to ensure they are compatible with the induction surface as they need to be metal. I just used a magnet to verify which pans of mine worked and which did not. Note: this does sit higher (appx 3/4-1") and stick out further than my prior range by at least an inch maybe two. If you need your countertop and range surface to be the same height you may want to double think this unit. It's taking some getting used to seeing the warming drawer handle as I didn't have a pull handle on my prior unit.

Poor workmanship, very good performance

Faztech 11/3/2025

There was a lack of overall manufacturing workmanship. First range arrived with missing hinge screw oven door wound not open or close properly. Second range also arrived with missing screws, found them "loose" inside the oven; figured out for where they belonged and installed them; oven door was also misaligned; fixed that myself too. Additionally, the warming drawer only opens smoothly for 50% of its travel; from there to full open it drags quite a bit and doesnt seem to be any way to adjust the roller tracks. Too bad, as it takes points away from the very good performance of the range top and oven.

Problems with set-up- not easy for customer

Betty310 10/22/2025

I love the stove so far but I would have expected a step by step manual with a stove that cost $4k! It seemed as though I had to pair the stove with my phone before I could get it to work. the Precision Cooking setting on the dials is non-operative and just generates a Cookware must be activated display--how about just "put cookware on burner". Communication regarding set-up is scant and I read the whole booklet of material that was left to us during installation, You guys need some communication help in order to have a super non-frustrated customer!!!! The description of where the model no is was confusing, and not right at least on my stove. Finally found it.

Fast, even, powerful cook top

JCSc 10/6/2025

Love the powerful, even & fast heating. First meal cooked was a pork T-bone seared in a carbon skillet. Beautiful, even browning across both sides. "Burners" are significantly more powerful than the 30-yr old natural gas range this one replaced. An unexpected benefit: the flat surface provides stable, safe places to put mixing bowls, etc. while cooking, compared to the grates above the burners on the old natural gas range. If you're not using all the induction spots its like gaining a little extra counter space.

Cat123 9/20/2025

First time ever with an induction stove which is very cool. Check your pots and pans with a magnet to see if they'll work. It's very responsive and looks nice in my kitchen. I love the knobs. I haven't tried all of it yet. I found it difficult to add to the app and I don't like that I can't see what remains on the timer? That's a big feature to me so I hope there's some kind of software update or something? I don't want to need to use my phone to use the stove.

Wonderful Stove Lacks accessibility features

kk01 9/8/2025

As a person who is totally blind and relies on Braille for daily tasks, I was initially excited to invest in the product mentioned above, expecting it to offer convenience and innovation. Unfortunately, I have encountered significant challenges that compromise its usability: 1. Keypad Sensitivity and Braille Support: The touch keypad lacks tactile feedback, and its sensitivity makes it impossible to operate without visual input. This design excludes users like me who depend on Braille or tactile indicators for interaction. My sighted family also confirms that this feature is difficult to operate. 2. App Accessibility: The Smart HQ app falls short in accessibility standards. For instance, it is not fully compatible with screen readers, making navigation and use frustrating and often impossible. Key features such as the broil function lacks the ability to be controlled from the app, and There is no way to stop the oven timer, nor the chime once the timer has completed. This lack of functionality denies users the ability to enjoy the full functionality of the product. These issues highlight a gap in design that inadvertently excludes a significant segment of your customer base. It is disheartening to see such innovative technology become inaccessible due to overlooked details.

Love cooking with induction. Fast and easy to control the heat. Oven is huge and I can bake multiple items at the same time.

Better Tasting Food

JuliaCooks 9/2/2025

We initially wanted to switch to an induction cooktop with electric oven for cleaner air. What we were surprised by was better tasting food. I can™€™t explain the science. Perhaps it™€™s the speed of temperature changes on the cooktop and the convection assist in the oven, but food tastes better. Most of our pans, including most of the cast iron work on the new surface. Tips: Lock the controls when cleaning, and then they can be left locked until the next use. Clean after every use (soapy water works well.) If you forget to turn off a burner, it cuts the heat, but you must remember eventually to turn the knob back to the off position before the next use. The one easy gliding oven rack is great for heavy items. The knob illuminates when on and a separate warm light illuminates when there is a warm cook surface and automatically turns off when cooled. Three months with this appliance and I couldn™€™t be happier.

Love the features, not the expensive repairs

dbf28 8/29/2025

We've had this model for almost four years and absolutely love it. Baking, stovetop fast heating, all excellent. The one issue we've had is multiple failures of the electronics. The first failure came a couple of months after the one year warranty was up. GE thankfully chose to honor the warranty anyway and replaced several circuit boards, which would have cost us over $1K if we had to do it ourselves. Then when the stove was three years old, another failure of the front right burner. To make matters worse, it was an intermittent failure, which made it difficult to correct, or know that a board replacement did the trick. We finally got it diagnosed and our home appliance insurance tried fixing it, but it maxed out our coverage. In the end, GE offered to sell us an identical replacement oven through their Owner Loyalty Exchange program after talking with their Consumer Relations department. Just received it, and I hope this time the electronics don't have issues after a few years.

Checks all the boxes

Janj 8/27/2025

This range performs better- that is- more responsive- than the one it replaced. The interior and racks are of a higher finish and therefore easier to keep clean. I like that there are two options to clean depending on level of baked on spills, etc. Because the control knobs are on the front instead of taking up real estate on the cooking surface, the bonus is the extra burner- the 'warming hub' which doesn't require an induction ready pan. Very pleased so far and hoping it lasts longer than its' 8 year old predecessor.

Meh

Stevenson 8/18/2025

I'm a couple weeks in and would like to echo a couple of things other reviews have mentioned. We had to run the oven off and on for several hours before the smell wore off. There is also definitely a buzzing sound if you turn the burner on high. To be fair, the only time we have the burner on high is when we're boiling water and fortunately that is pretty quick. There were some spots on the inside glass that either look like a defect or something residual from a previous use. The thing I'm really not a fan of are the rubber lines in between the stove top and the rest of the range. There are multiple spots that bubble up and seems like this place will get dirty quickly. I do appreciate the quick boiling water and the air frying is pretty neat (once I was able to figure it out). I don't know if I would purchase this stove again if I had a time machine.

Design is King.

AJAaia 8/17/2025

The sleek design with the glass top dominating the counter has made our small kitchen look vast. The entire space feels new with the recent install of the Cafe induction range and with the Cafe microwave. The storied fast cooking time is not an exaggeration, it's all true and wonderful.

Unreliable

seabob 8/15/2025

We thought we were getting a solid and reliable product when we purchased a this range in Dec 2019, upgrading a 25-yr old JennAir electric range that came with the house and still worked though had cracked top. Induction was a nice upgrade from heating elements, but it only lasted 3 years before the induction control board died on us (during Thanksgiving 2022). We had it repaired despite the expense thinking it was a fluke and would last long, unfortunately the new board is now failing 2 years 8 months later! Not sure if this is a weakness of these or if we have a lemon. It's a beautiful looking range but simply not reliable.

Mostly Great

Kate52 8/14/2025

I love this range for many reasons. Oven works great - even and accurate temp - and stovetop heats evenly and quick. The burners on the left that are supposed to combine to use a griddle are questionable. First, there is no suggested griddle and not an option to buy from the company. Second, any reviews I have read of griddles they have purchased have not heated evenly over this feature. The only other thing is that it doesn't quite fit in my space as every other range has done since 1975. It is a bit too deep.

I love this range!

JJDchef 8/8/2025

When we sold our house, I was heartbroken to leave my Cafà range behind for the new owners. Two thousand miles away my new Cafà range has just been installed! I loved the first one so much that I never considered another brand. The only change I made was to have a single oven this time.

Big gas has you fooled

Kimkims 7/27/2025

We were hesitate to switch from gas because we enjoy cooking and had bad electric experiences in the past. Big gas has you fooled that that is the way to cook. Induction is so obviously better. Heats faster and hotter, cleans up easier, controls are more precise. It™€™s an absolutely no brainer. If you™€™re considering it, switch. If you™€™re not considering, switch.

Will spen most of summer with malfunctioning oven.

DisappointedInCafe 7/19/2025

Junky convection fan within a month of owning. Easy to schedule repair, however repair service has cancelled on us TWICE on same day of service with reschedule 2-3 weeks out. Can't get a hold of a human being to make this right. Limited to talking to a chat scheduler. Here is what we have experienced twice: "Hello, this is Richard, your AI virtual assistant from Sears Home Services. We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to have a technician available today to service your appliance. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We would like to make this right by rescheduling your appointment at the next available time. Which of the following works best for you? 1. 7/21 2. 7/30 3. 8/1 4. 8/4." Today is 7/3. Update 7/18. Despite making pleasant connections with customer service, we still do not have an appointment set up to fix this new stove. Ironically today we received an "important reminder" from Cafe about purchasing additional years of the Service Protection Advantage. The price of that seems inflated in our region, considering we are about 50 days out without anyone in our area available to honor the warranty repair.
